The man wanted in connection to a murder in LaRue County has been arrested in Breckinridge County.

Kentucky State Police Post 4 spokesman Scotty Sharp confirmed that 22-year-old Timothy R. Hedges, of Hodgenville, was arrested late Thursday night by KSP troopers in Custer, about 22 miles north of Leitchfield.

Hedges, who had unrelated warrants for his arrest, as well, was wanted in the shooting death of 21-year-old Levi G. Sheroon, of Mt. Sherman in Green County. Sheroon suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest sometime before 11:30 Wednesday night and was later pronounced dead at Baptist Health Hardin.

The fatal shooting occurred on Dana Drive, about a quarter-mile from LaRue County High School.

Hedges was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center where he’s been charged with murder.
