A Caneyville man has been arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Morgantown Street.

Wednesday night at approximately 10:30, Grayson County Deputies Andy Vincent and Sean Fentress were patrolling in Caneyville when Vincent conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Morgantown Street on a northbound Chevrolet S10, being driven by 36-year-old Calvert Woosley, of Caneyville, for faulty equipment.

As Vincent made contact with Woosley, the deputy suspected he was under the influence. Woosley was given a field sobriety test by Sgt. Zane Greer and arrested.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Woosley was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), his second DUI (excludes alcohol), possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a DUI suspended license, and rear license plate not illuminated.

He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
