William L. Lewis, age 78 of Millwood, passed away Saturday, October 31st 2020 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was born April 2nd 1942 in Park City, Kentucky, the son of Lester Lewis and Ella Thompson Tilford. He was the owner of Mid-West Builders and member of the Bethhaven Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Lee Cooper Lewis, one son, Shawn Lewis, and two brothers, Bobby Tilford and Curtis Tilford.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Riddle.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 3rd 2020 at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Wilson Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
All those who wish to honor and remember Mr. Lewis in person at the visitation or service are required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance.
