Louise Lindsey Kennison, age 87, of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, (October 31, 2020) at her home in Caneyville.
She was born on February 13, 1933 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Eardie and Cora Langdon Lindsey.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, growing her flowers and puzzle books. She was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Kennison (Amy); her daughter, Vickie Newton (Truman); four grandchildren, Melissa Newton, Kathy Newton, Christa Kennison and Will Jones; three great-grandchildren, Lilly and Maya Guillaum and Peyton Hack; three brothers, Earl, Don and Sam Lindsey; and one sister, Lucille Dudgeon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Kennison; two brothers, Leroy and James Lindsey; and her daughter-in-law, Crissie Kennison.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (November 4, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of services.
