Grayson County High School senior football player Mason Miller has announced his commitment to play college football at Campbellsville University.

Miller becomes the third member of the Cougar football team to commit to the Tigers this month joining Zack Bratcher and Caden Woodcock.

This season, the senior fullback and linebacker rushed for 181 yards and 4 touchdowns while also adding 35 tackles on the defensive side of the ball.

GCHS head coach Bryan Jones said “Mason is a one of a kind football player. You only get a few opportunities to coach a kid that plays the game the way that he does. He is an old school player, one that will sacrifice himself to punish the opponent. He will be very difficult for us to replace if we plan to continue to run the same type of offense. He was a well-respected leader by his teammates and another one that I am very proud to have coached!”

Campbellsville is an NAIA football program and coached by Perry Thomas. In the most reason season, the Tigers finished with a 1-9, but are three years removed from a victory in the NCCAA Victory Bowl.

Jones says that the three Cougars are expected to officially sign their letters of intent in February.
