A Leitchfield man wanted on a laundry list of felony charges has been jailed after being indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury.

Nathaniel C. Tritchler, 40, was arrested Sunday on two separate indictment warrants. The first warrant accuses Tritchler of felony strangulation, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and being a persistent felony offender.

The second warrant charges Tritchler with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), his second DUI, violation of an EPO/DVO, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, being a persistent felony offender (enhancement), possession of marijuana, speeding 10 mph over the limit, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tritchler has been convicted on felony charges in three counties since 2013: In July 2016, he was convicted in Grayson County for trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); in June 2016, he was convicted in Ohio County for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); and in Breckinridge County in 2013, he was convicted of flagrant non-support.

He was first paroled in May 2016 on the flagrant non-support conviction, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, and after serving time for his 2016 convictions, he was again paroled in November 2018.

Tritchler is being held in the Grayson County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
