Goldia Lemons, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (April 17, 2021) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes.
She was born on November 22, 1934 in Breckinridge County, KY, the daughter of the late Harlan and Sarah Decker Stinson.
She was an assembly line worker for General Electric who enjoyed crafts and spending with the Red Hat Ladies. She was a member of the Caneyville Church of Christ, the Hospital Auxillary at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, the 50+ Support Group, and the Busy Bee Home Makers Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Ann Steen (Gary) of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Jessica Steen of Leitchfield, Heather Williams of Alabama, Chad Steen of Florida; two great-grandchildren, Theo and Hazel Williams; and two sisters, Magdalene Cummings & Myrtle Mudd both of Caneyville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Fannie Haynes.
Private Services will be held under the direction of Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery.
