The BOIL WATER ADVISORY issued Tuesday for a section of Leitchfield has been lifted.
Utilities Superintendent Dwight Embry said the water samples taken by Leitchfield Utilities from multiple sites have been analyzed by a state certified drinking water laboratory and were free of contamination.
The area affected by the advisory was Salt River Road from Mill Street to Johnson Street.
