Police release names of suspects arrested during raid on Leavette Avenue in Leitchfield

Law enforcement has released the names of the suspects arrested during a raid at 609 Leavette Avenue in Leitchfield on Wednesday.

The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force said four people were arrested Wednesday afternoon: 25-year-old Quinton Stevenson, 47-year-old James R. Poole, 60-year-old Roger Berry, and Kensissa Zehnder.

Stevenson was charged with theft by unlawful taking (vehicle parts, more than $500), possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Poole was charged with theft by unlawful taking (vehicle parts, more than $500), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of synthetic cannabinoid, first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Berry was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Zehnder’s charges were not available.

The four suspects were arrested when the task force, Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office served warrants, first at 609 Leavette Avenue and later at 502 West Main Street, also in Leitchfield.

Police located drugs and stolen automobile parts at the locations, which were littered with garbage, refuse and human waste.

Only Stevenson remains lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
