A Caneyville teenager is facing drug trafficking charges after police located over two ounces of methamphetamine and other drugs when law enforcement responded to a 911 call.

Tuesday morning at approximately 5:15, Grayson County Deputy Sean Fentress was dispatched to the 3300 block of Free Zion Road after someone called Grayson County Dispatch and said, “Someone is going to die.”

Upon Fentress arriving at the scene, 19-year-old Mason P. Willoughby exited a camper bleeding from his arm. Police soon learned Willoughby had a warrant for his arrest.

Law enforcement searched the residence and located over two ounces of methamphetamine, pills, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Willoughby was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, drug unspecified), cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All the drug charges are enhanced due to the presence of a firearm.

Willoughby was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
