Surveillance video in Georgetown shows a creative criminal using a forklift to steal an ATM.
During the early morning hours of Wednesday, the forklift is seen loading the ATM into a U-Haul truck, according to a report by WKYT.com. The ATM was stolen from Stock Yards Bank & Trust on West Showalter Drive.
The only description of the person operating the forklift was that he/she was wearing dark clothing.
The forklift was taken from a nearby construction site adjacent to the Scott County Public Library.
The theft was reported Wednesday morning at about 5:00 when someone pulled up to use the ATM and noticed wires and papers on the ground. The ATM awning was also damaged.
No arrests have been made.
