Two Caneyville men have been charged with stealing dozens of items worth possibly thousands of dollars from Clarkson storage units.

The lengthy investigation, involving the Clarkson and Leitchfield Police Departments, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Constable Mark Stanton, and Kentucky State Police, resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Trenton D. Logsdon and 37-year-old Andrew J. Oller.

The investigation into the thefts originally led law enforcement to multiple Caneyville homes where the two suspects were arrested on December 31.

On January 3, Clarkson Police Chief Buck Meredith, Grayson County Sgt. Clay Boone and Stanton executed a search warrant at a Windy Ridge Road residence where dozens of stolen items were located and seized.

Police have only now released the identities of the suspects to maintain the integrity of the investigation.

Meredith, who spearheaded the investigation, said the inquiry remains ongoing. The chief said police have recovered “a lot of suspected stolen items,” as he continues to catalog the goods. When that process is complete, he will return the stolen items to the rightful owners.

Logsdon, who is also facing a methamphetamine possession charge, and Oller were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center but are no longer listed as inmates.
