HENDERSON, Ky. (AP) — Police say three people are recovering after being hit by a car that crashed into a store at a shopping center in western Kentucky.
Police told The Gleaner (http://bit.ly/18EEJ2T) that none of the injured suffered life-threatening injuries when 63-year-old Arsa Lee drove a vehicle through the glass at the front of the Hibbet Sports store and didn't stop until the sedan was partially through the rear wall.
Lee has been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants with aggravating circumstances.
Officer Jennifer Richmond said police think Lee hit a vehicle in the parking lot before crashing into the store.
Store employee Kimberly Teague of Henderson and customers Kenneth Manuel of Morganfield and Garrett Thompson of Robards were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
