HOSA members competed at State Leadership Conference March 6-9, with thirteen students qualifying for the national Leadership Conference this June in Nashville. Finishing in 1st place: Samantha Newton, Extemporaneous Health Poster; Emily Logsdon, Bethany Harting, Isaac Logsdon, Shelbi Arnold, Lisa Duvall, Medical Reserve Corp Team; 2nd place: Kaitlyn Butler, Lacey Decker, Kennedy Carmine, Health Education Team; Jessica Slayton, Healthy Lifestyles; Jennifer Barton, Physical Therapy; Haley Wright, Clinical Nursing; 3rd place: Kaylee Duvall, Clinical Nursing. Kaleb Jaggers was honored in the HOSA Week category, a Recognition Event. Emily Logsdon was elected to serve as state HOSA Treasurer during 2013-14.
