Store Manager Judy Jaggers said the even she was surprised the store opened their doors on Thursday. (LISTEN) She said the trucks came earlier than expected and the workers began to quickly assemble the store displays. The target date to open was this weekend.
Jaggers said the store will offer name brand clothing to Grayson County. The store will also offer three fulltime and two part time positions to the local economy. Factory Connection stores feature a wide selection of the latest Juniors, Missy, Plus Size and Men’s fashions.
By 4:00pm Thursday afternoon Jaggers said word-of-mouth had packed the store and she said the store thus far had been very well received. (LISTEN)
The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am-7:00pm. Jaggers said eventually the store will open on Sunday’s from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
The Factory Connection first opened its doors in 1976 in Guntersville, AL by Terry Scott and Kenny Littleton who remain active today in its management and daily operations. The store’s home office and 70,000 square foot distribution center is located in Albertville, AL.
