Bill Sims, age 85, of Clarkson, KY passed away July 3, 2017 at Spring View Health & Rehab.
He was born on March 3, 1932, the son of the late Herbert and Clara Allison Sims and was married to Alberta Hardin Sims. He was a retired truck driver for Smiths Transfer, a Veteran of the Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict, member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and former owner of Smitty City.
Funeral services: Thursday, July 6, 2107 at 11AM (CDT) at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Babu Kulathumkal officiating.
Burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00PM (CDT) at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Prayers on Wednesday night at 7:00PM (CDT) at the Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife; Alberta; one sister, Anna Lee Alvey and one brother, Jack Sims.
His is survived by two sisters; Violet Hamilton and Martina Budwit; one brother; Jimmy Sims (Carol) and several Nieces and Nephews.
