According to Grayson County Sheriff’s Deputy Bryan Hammons, the accident occurred when Charles M. Colemore was traveling west on Hwy 54 and he ran off of the left side of the roadway.
He lost control of the 1992 Toyota Camry he was driving and struck a concrete drainage tile, causing the car to overturn. The Camry came to rest on its top in a ditch.
Colemore has a strong smell of alcohol, and beer was found inside the vehicle, according to Hammons.
Colemore was transported by Grayson County EMS to the landing pad at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center where he was flown by Air Methods to the U of L hospital.
