Clarkson Commissioners Seal the Constuction Loan Deal
Clarkson Commissioners met last night and heard the 2nd reading of the construction loan for the new city hall/community center. They sealed the deal with the construction loan through the Bank of Clarkson with a locked rate of 3.91%, with a 5 thousand dollar a month payment for 9 months. That will convert to a 30 year loan with a monthly payment, also at a rate of 3.91% for financing of the building itself for the first 15 years, that will only increase 3% after. No construction date has been set. The Class of 1952 held their class reunion over the weekend and donated $1000 to the community center.
Commissioners also discussed property tax rate options for 2013-2015 but tabled the issue. Action will be taken at the next meeting.
