DENVER (AP) — A Colorado man has been sentenced to more than 19 years in federal prison on charges of producing child pornography.
Thirty-nine-year-old Robert Arthur Brewster of Clifton was sentenced to 19 years and seven months in prison and ordered to spend the rest of his life after prison on probation.
He was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution.
Brewster was sentenced Tuesday. He was indicted in February and pleaded guilty on July 10.
Prosecutors say investigators found child pornography on Brewster's computer. They say the search was carried out after Brewster communicated by computer messages with a police officer in Kenton, Ky., who was posing as a 13-year-old girl.
