Harley Gloves Fulkerson, age 73 , of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Thursday, (April 25, 2013) at his residence.
He was born on June 5, 1939 in Big Clifty, KY, the son of the late Holland and Zadie Mae Horn Fulkerson.
He was a farmer, and mechanic, who enjoyed building furniture. He was a member of the Jubilee Church, and the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Ivas (Dunn) Fulkerson; four sons, Timmy Dalton and his wife Julie of Louisville, Sammy Fulkerson and his wife Joy of Clarkson, Steve Dalton and his wife Louisa of Bardstown, and Bobby Fulkerson and his wife Melissa of Kyrock; three daughters, Denise Dunn of Cincinnati, Vicky Sisk of Big Clifty, and Shannon Mouser and her husband Travis of Big Clifty; one sister, Jessie Allen and her husband Harley of Big Clifty; one brother, Russell Fulkerson and his wife Louise of Big Clifty; seventeen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan and Jimmy Fulkerson, and one sister, Maudie Bernard.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (April 28, 2013) at Jubilee Church in Clarkson. Bro. Robert White will be officiating, with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and at the church from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
