Hosparus needs volunteers in the Central Kentucky area and will offer a free training, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday, February 24 (lunch provided) at its Elizabethtown site, 105 Diecks Dr. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, February 21. Those unable to attend who are still interested in volunteering are encouraged to contact Annette about future training opportunities. Hosparus volunteers help with patient/family support, administrative duties, bereavement care, respite and development/fundraising. Hosparus volunteers must be in good health, have available transportation and complete a training and application process.
