(Leitchfield, KY) - The Leitchfield Police Department is currently investigating vandalism that occurred on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the firefighter’s pavilion on Brandenburg Road in Leitchfield.
    
Perpetrator(s) damaged the new bathroom facility by marking on the brick walls of the structure causing damage.

Arson, Bomb Threats Keep LPD Busy

(Leitchfield, KY) – Just minutes before midnight, Monday, May 13, 2013, the Leitchfield Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Sunset Drive.
 
When the department arrived to the scene, a 2000 Ford Taurus, owned by Jordan Hutchinson, was burning.
 
After extinguishing the fire, it was determined that the fire had been purposely set.

(Caneyville, KY) – Caneyville Commissioners spent time with annual housekeeping issues during their regular monthly meeting on Monday, May 13, 2013.
 
The commissioners agreed to have the Leitchfield Wastewater Lab perform water and wastewater analysis for the fiscal year of 2013-14.  This was the only quote received and came with a price tag of $10,643.80.  More...
