BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Lola Francis Hawks, 72, of Bowling Green passed away at 5:00 AM April 6, 2013 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky Center in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and member of Combs Lane Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late William Preston Sullivan and Della Mae Wilson Sullivan and the wife of the late Albert M. “Sam” Hawks. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe Hawks.
Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Hawks Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon-9 PM Monday and after 9 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are her husband, Michael Vida; four sons, Steve Hawks and Michael Hawks both of Bowling Green, Roger Dale Hawks of Chalybeate and Darrell Hawks of Port Richey, FL; two daughters, Andrea Burke of Bowling Green and Anita Campbell of Smiths Grove; a brother, Gerald Sullivan of Wingfield; a sister, Louise Duvall of Clarksville, IN; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
