Mack Arthur McStoots, 70

Mack Arthur McStoots, age 70, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 17, 2013) at his home.
He was born on March 27, 1943 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Clint and Ulva Whitaker McStoots.
He was a boilermaker for TVA, who enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, driving his tractor and caring for his cattle; he was a member of the Boilermaker’s Union # 43, the Carpenters Union and attended the Shrewsbury General Baptist Church.
He is survived by six sisters, Willadean (Ernest) Sandlin of Sadler, Irene Ray, Carolyn Croghan, Dorothy (Teddy) Stevenson and Doris (Mike) Houchin all of Leitchfield, Ora (Phillip) Clements of Shrewsbury, one brother, Clifford (Mary) McStoots of Sadler.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynda Gayle McStoots and three brothers, Jimmy, Clarence and Ronnie McStoots.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (December 20, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Ed Cockriel and Howard Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
