Mae Seaton Nash, age 90, of Shrewsbury, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 15, 2017) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on October 31, 1926 in Big Reedy, KY, the daughter of the late Mark and Mamie Miller Seaton.
She was a housewife and a farmer, who enjoyed quilting, baking pies and spending time with her family. She was a member of Shrewsbury Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Nash of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Mamie Nash of Louisville and Joe Nash (Amanda) of New York; a great-grandchild, Laila Nash of Louisville; a sister, Carolyn Sue Seaton of Shrewsbury; two brothers, John Mark Seaton (Aline) of Shepherdsville, KY and Leon Seaton (Agnes) of Horse Cave, KY. A former daughter in law, Becky Rowe of Owensboro, KY and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Nash; a son, Larry Nash; a daughter, Patsy Nash; five brothers, Duel, Noval, Ravil, Delson, and Estill Seaton; and a sister, Adine Kerr.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 18, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Glenn Seaton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Shrewsbury Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
