A Shepherdsville man has been charged with attacking a woman and sexually assaulting her in a public park in broad daylight.
On Monday night at approximately 5:00, Shepherdsville police arrested 21-year-old Daniel L. Hill, after Hill allegedly attacked a woman from behind in Shepherdsville City Park. Hill is accused of knocking the woman to the ground, holding her down and fondling her over her clothing.
Police said the woman was struck in the face as she struggled with Hill, but managed to free herself and call police. Authorities located Hill a short distance away, with him admitting to the assault and unwanted sexual contact.
He was charged with sexual abuse and assault, and lodged in the Bullitt County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
