(Caneyville, KY) – The Grayson County Sheriff’s Department shut down a working meth lab Friday near Caneyville.  The area has become a predominant place for meth bust recently.

Detective Terry Blanton said around 11:30 a.m. Friday he served a search warrant at 244 Richland Road where Bobby Ray Mitchell (29) was staying.  Blanton said a working meth lab was found and dismantled.

The property is a rental home and is rented to Mitchell’s supposed girlfriend; children do live in the home.  The children were not home at the time of the bust.

Mitchell was charged with Manufacturing Meth, 1st Offense.
