Blanton said his investigation of the sale of pseudoephedrine pills is how the investigation led him to the home located at 11033 Owensboro Road in search of James Willoughby.
Once the search warrant was executed Blanton was able to locate the meth lab in Willoughby’s bedroom closet. Willoughby lived at the resident with his grandmother who Blanton said was unaware of the illegal action occurring inside of the home.
Blanton said there will be a warrant pursued for the arrest of James Willoughby, who was not home during the time of the discovery. He said there could be more arrest pending in the case.
Detective Blanton and Deputy Jeff Kelsey with assistance from the Kentucky State Police DESI Unit cleaned up the meth lab.
