Louisville - The Grayson County Cougars traveled to Louisville to meet District opponent Iroquois. The Raiders and Cougars both were 3 and 3 entering Friday nights game. The Raiders like the Cougars have a young talented squad. So the stage was set for what we thought would be a great battle. Then the rains came.

The boys' golf team placed runner up in the regional competition Tuesday with a team score of 329! It has been 20 years (this year) since our boys' team have qualified for the state tournament. (Leitchfield-KY) There was something different in the air on Friday night. Something in that cool Grayson county air. Oh yeah, I remember, it was the desire to win. Everybody in Cougar stadium could sense it. When the team took the field, they were fired up and ready to play football. So were the fans in the stands.
The stage was set. (The Cougars even have an awesome band). The only thing left to do is play 48 minutes of smart, physically and mentally tough football. So here come the Trojans.
North Hardin is big, tough and fast. Really fast! The only game plan that will work requires staying on your assignment defensively and not letting them get past you. They are Dante Johnson (state track champion) fast. Morgantown - The Grayson County Cougars traveled to Butler County for the 1st ever Monsoon Bowl. The Bears were coming off of a tough loss where they had not played well. In their two wins, the Bears racked up almost 800 yards of offense and 92 points.

Leitchfield - The Grayson County Cougars hosted the Daviess County Panthers for Homecoming 2013. The Panthers had faced three tough 3rd Region foes previous to the visit. After two losses to Owensboro Catholic and Owensboro, Daviess County was able to clinch their first victory against rival Apollo.
