There will be a Sewing Day Camp for kids ages 9-18 this summer at the Grayson County Extension Office. The Camp will be taught by Certified Master Clothing Volunteer, Barbara Stiles. The series will be held Thursdays, June 1st, June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 20th, and July 27th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The series is free and lunch will be provided. The classes will focus on fabric selection, how to read and understand a pattern, sewing machine parts and functions and open sewing project days. Sewing machines will be provided. Advanced registration is required by calling the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492. You should park in the back of the building and enter in the West entrance door.
