Wanda Marie Alexander, 83, of Brownsville passed away at 8:23 AM Tuesday June 20, 2017 in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker, a caregiver to many of her family and friends and a member of Red Hill General Baptist Church, which she loved with her whole heart. She was a daughter of the late Dewey Haskell "Peadad" Kinser and Cal Verna Minton Kinser and the wife of the late Rev. Johnnie Alexander. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Darrell and David Kinser; and a sister, Shelby Jean "Prissy" Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Alexander Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, 9 AM-8 PM Friday and after 9 AM Saturday.
Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Steele (Tony) of Brownsville; a granddaughter, Toni Marie Hogan (Matt) of Brownsville; three great grandchildren, Austin Hogan (Amber), Kathleen Marie Hogan and John Robert Hogan; and several nieces and nephews.
