Ashley Willoughby addressed the commission saying there is not enough time to submit a CDBG application for cleaning of the plant but he could submit one for the remainder of the rehab work.

The commissioners adopted a new nuisance ordinance, which nullified the previous nuisance ordinance.
City Treasurer/Clerk Brenda Brown reported there had been 10 sponsor signs sold thus far to be added to the new Welcome signs for Caneyville.
The 2008-09 audit work was awarded to Buckles, Travis and Sloan at a cost not to exceed $6,825 and the UFR at a cost not to exceed $475.
The commissioners accepted the yearly contract with Lincoln Trail District Health Department.
The motion was approved to purchase 126 new meters from Grayson County Water District at a cost of $29.60 for a total cost of $3,729.60. The commissioners also agreed to purchase a new computer for city hall.
Grayson County Bicentennial Committee will meet July 22nd to discuss the upcoming 200th anniversary of Grayson County in 2010. The commissioners agreed to have Commissioners Embry and Gootee attend the meeting on behalf of Caneyville.
