Lois Fuqua and her granddaughter were pulling out of the parking lot of Dairy Queen when a driver in an approaching car stopped and motioned for Fuqua to pull-out into the northbound traffic. Fuqua began to pull out onto the roadway when her Honda Accord was struck in the driver’s side door.
Officer Helvey said a Jeep Liberty driven by Melissa Hatfield was headed northbound when Fuqua pulled-out into her path of travel. The impact of the Jeep and Honda left the driver’s side door crushed. The Leitchfield Fire Department has to extricate Fuqua from the driver’s seat. Her granddaughter and Hatfield were all transported to an area hospital by Grayson County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
