(Peonia, KY)-Two brothers were arrested Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at their home after the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department uncovered illegal paraphernalia.
Detective Terry Blanton said he executed a search warrant at 3895 Peonia Road, the home of Brian Keith Clemons (39) and Chad Clemons (19).
Blanton said he search the home and found ingredients and equipment used in the manufacturing of Methamphetamines. He said the paraphernalia was “very well” hidden inside of the home.
A firearm was found on Chad Clemons. Blanton said Clemons never threatened to use the firearm.
Both men were charged with Manufacturing Meth and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth). Chad was also charged with Possession of Marijuana and his Manufacturing Meth charge was enhanced with a firearm.
Both men were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
On New Year’s Eve the sheriff’s department executed a search warrant at 3974 Grayson Springs Road where Blanton said immediately he could smell chemical odors in the back yard of the home.
The time the team intercepted a meth lab while in the process of cooking the drug.
Blanton said Kentucky State Trooper Seth Lee apprehended Brent Coates (33) outside of the home. He said Deloris Rose McClurg (46) was discovered inside of the home along with the working Meth lab in the home’s attic.
Both were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamines.
