(Leitchfield, KY) – A Grayson County man was sentenced on arson charges in Grayson County Circuit Court on January 22, 2013.
 
According to Kentucky State Police, Russell Mercer (64) was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the arson case that took place on November 10, 2010.
 
Mercer hired his ex-brother-in-law, Tom Lashley, (46) to burn some property, promising him a portion of the insurance money collected.    
 
Lashley pled guilty to arson and was sentenced to 10 years in prison on February 07, 2012.
