(Clarkson, KY) – The remnants of an accident Sunday night were found submerged in overnight rain waters Monday morning.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Department and Central Dispatch received multiple calls about a car spotted in a creek with just a small portion of the vehicle’s top emerging from the running waters.
Sheriff Rick Clemons said the creek was running along Hwy US 62 and Clarks School Road.
Clemons said the car belonged to Vicki Carby (Big Clifty) and she failed to get the car out of the creek Sunday night after she wrecked. Clemons said Carby was not injured during the accident but left the car at the scene.
The overnight rains consumed the vehicle.
As of 2:30 p.m. Monday after the vehicle was still submerged in the creek.
