JAMESTOWN, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say firefighters have found the body of a man after dousing flames at his home.
Police identified the victim on Thursday as 50-year-old Porter Cain. Police said in a statement that they were called to the scene at 12:48 a.m. CDT on Thursday after firefighters located Cain's body in the burned residence.
Police said the cause of the fire is under investigation, but no foul play is suspected. The Russell County Coroner planned an autopsy later in the day to determine the cause of death.
