(Big Clifty, KY) – A fire that destroyed two semi tractor-trailer truck cabs is under investigation after an Easter morning blaze.
Grayson County Sheriff Rick Clemons said the fire began around 4:00 a.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013.
The two cabs were fully engulfed in flames when the East Grayson County Volunteer Fire Department arrived to the scene.
Sheriff Clemons received a call at 4:26 a.m. to investigate.
The Kentucky State Fire Marshal’s office visited the area Monday morning and decided the cause of the fire was undeterminable.
The two trucks belonged to Escue Wood Preserving and Lonnie Howard.
The truck belonging to Escue Wood Preserving was loaded with treated wood that was to be delivered on Monday. The fire did not harm the timber.
Sheriff Clemons said the fire is still under investigation and anyone with any information is ask to call the GCSO at (270) 259-3024.
