2 killed in fatal crash in northern Ky.

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A couple from Clark County died in a three-car crash in northern Kentucky.

The Mason County Sheriff's Department says Joseph and Donna Mathis died at about 4:15 p.m. EDT Sunday on U.S. 68 near the Mays Lick Cemetery.

WLEX-TV reported (http://bit.ly/11AMNzI ) that Robert Kidd was driving his red truck north on 68 when he was rear-ended by a Tennessee man. Kidd was sent into the southbound lane where he crashed into the couple

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kidd was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

The Sheriff's Department says they do not expect any charges to be filed.
