GCHS HOSA participated in National competition last month in Nashville. More than 7,500 students compete each year and several local chapter members were honored for outstanding work. Jessica Slayton’s “Healthy Lifestyles” project was selected to advance to the second round of entries. And the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) team made it on stage as national Top Ten finalists. The MRC Team of Lisa Duvall, Emily Logsdon, Isaac Logsdon, Shelbi Arnold, Bethany Harting finished 4th in the nation during HOSA competition. Their yearlong efforts included a variety of community and school activities to promote health, wellness and safety, along with HOSA awareness.
