(Clarkson, KY) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking public input about the US 62 widening project.
The improvements will encompass the intersection of US 62 at the William Thomason Byway to Hwy 224 in Clarkson, Ky.,
The informal format will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Clarkson Elementary School on Thursday, July 18, 2013, and continue until 6:30 p.m. The public is encourage to stop by anytime to leave their comments.
Handouts, containing information about the project, comment sheets with a questionnaire, and displays will be available at the meeting.
Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and their consultant, WMB, Inc. will be available to answer any questions.
Written comments will be accepted during the meeting and up to 15 days after the meeting at the District 4 office listed below.
A brief presentation will be provided at 5:15 PM about the project and an early assessment of needs the project may need to address.
Written comments from this meeting will become part of the official record for the project. Once compiled, the meeting record will be available for review and copy only after an Open Records Request has been received and approved. All Open Records Requests must be submitted to the Office of Legal Services, Transportation Cabinet Office Building, 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky, 40622.
