RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — The family a missing woman from central Kentucky are planning a fundraiser to raise donations earmarked to help pay for the search for their missing loved one.
Tasha Thomas says his daughter, 18-year-old Brookelyn Shae Farthing, wouldn't have just disappeared. Thomas told The Richmond Register (http://bit.ly/11TnRFI) the family wants to use donations to pay for T-shirts, a billboard and for flyers to distribute to help in the search.
Farthing was last seen in Berea on June 22 at a house that burned down later that night. Kentucky State Police have been searching for her since. Troopers recently asked landowners in several central and eastern Kentucky counties to search their property for any signs of disturbed land or foul odors.
