RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say they are conducting a ground search for a teen that was reported missing last month.
A statement says investigators began the search Tuesday morning in the Berea area for 18-year-old Brookelyn Farthing, who was last seen in southeastern Madison County on June 22. Police had discontinued foot searches after more than 80 people search through 500 acres on June 29 without finding anything.
Police had asked landowners in four counties to check their property for any signs of Farthing or freshly turned earth.
The home where Farthing was last seen caught fire and burned down.
