Berea officer helps 2 teens from overturned car

BEREA, Ky. (AP) — A Berea police officer rescued two teens whose car landed upside down in a creek.

WLEX-TV ( http://bit.ly/12oRlvc ) reported the car ran off a road early Friday morning and hit the edge of a bridge when the driver overcorrected. The car flipped upside down into about a foot of water.

A neighbor heard the impact and called 911. Police were quickly on the scene and an officer helped the teens out of the overturned car. Both were taken to St. Joseph Hospital Berea with minor injuries.

Police say they don't suspect drugs or alcohol in the crash.
