Three of those sentencings were related to meth charges.
Carlos Mercer was indicted by a grand jury on July 9, 2012. Mercer (45) of Leitchfield, will spend the next 25 years in jail for the Manufacturing Meth, 2nd Offense, and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
Jody Grant, who was also indicted by a grand jury on July 9, 2012, will spend 10 years in jail. Grant (38) of Clarkson, is sentenced for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Offense.
Robert Luis Grant, was indicted by a grand jury on June 3, 2010, and will serve one year in jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
Christopher Woosley, (28) of Caneyville, will serve a total of four years. Woosely received two years for Receiving Stolen Property Valued Under $10,000, and two years for Theft by Unlawful Talking/Disposition – Firearm. According to the grand jury indictment, on or about December 12, 2012, Woosley retained a Samsung Galaxy II phone, Acton automotive scanner, and Dell computer stolen from Bobby Young. He also took firearms, at least one, belonging to Bobby Young.
