ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (AP) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says travelers on Interstate 65 will encounter lane closures for the next couple of weeks in Hardin County, causing possible lengthy delays.
Motorists are advised to watch for stopped and slow-moving traffic ahead and minimize the potential for distracted driving. The cabinet advises paying close attention to electronic message boards and road signs when approaching the work zone.
The work was getting started Sunday night and will take place through Thursday morning both weeks. The location is in southbound lanes between mile point 103 and mile point 100. Only one lane will be available in that stretch.
