Ruben “RT” Quisenberry, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (August 26, 2013) at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville KY.
He was born on December 3, 1938 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Thomas and Gracie Mudd Quisenberry.
He was a retired machinist from Crucible Steel. He was a member of the Pilgrim Eastern Star # 496 and the Pilgrim Masonic Lodge # 545 and was a member of the Millwood Undenominational Church.
He is survived by four brothers, Charles and Daymon Quisenberry both of Spring Lick, KY, Ronnie of Cecilia, KY and David Quisenberry of Leitchfield, one sister, Elizabeth Dee Carter of Brownsville, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Louis Quisenberry and Ruby Bruner.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (August 29, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. There will be an Eastern Star service at the funeral home on Wednesday night at 6 pm followed by a masonic service presented by the Pilgrim Eastern Star and Pilgrim Masonic Lodge.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
