The Grayson County Board of Education broke ground on a new Central Office on August 28th. In addition to office space, the new facility will host district and regional trainings and meetings.
The 94 acre site on East Shaw Station Road near the Thomason Byway was purchased several years ago in anticipation of future needs. In addition to the central office, other facilities could be constructed on the acreage, even potentially a fifth elementary school. Board Superintendent Barry Anderson addressed the large turnout, thanking the community for its tremendous support of Grayson County Schools.
