WDRB Reports: Two KSP Troopers Fired As Result Of Investigation

WDRB in Louisville is reporting that the Kentucky State Police have fired two troopers who were allegedly involved in an inappropriate relationship with a 15 year old girl.

Police say that Trooper Stratford Young and Trooper Jerry Clanton, both from Post 4 in Elizabethtown were fired on Friday.  Specifics weren’t released due to a pending criminal appeals process and internal administrative review process.

The Kentucky Attorney General’s Office is in the process of naming a special prosecutor in the case.

A father alleges that his 15 year old daughter remains in treatment, saying she’s the victim of an inappropriate relationship with a Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Deputy, two KSP Troopers and a Brandenburg Police Officer.

Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Woosley resigned last week although his department would not say why.

A Brandenburg Police Officer is also on paid administrative leave.
