Grayson County Historical Society honors couple for service
Scotty Gore Reporting
The Grayson County Historical Society honored Ken & Nancy Robinson at the October general meeting at the Jack Thomas House. After many years of dedicated service to the Historical Society, the Robinsons retired from the board of directors on October 1st. Ken served as president of the board for the past 14 years, while Nancy served as a long-time board member and was one of the founding members of the Historical Society in 1976. The Historical Society thanks them for their numerous contributions to the community and wishes them well in their retirement. Fortunately the Historical Society isn't losing either of them entirely, as both Ken & Nancy have agreed to stay on as active general members.
Retired Grayson County Judge Kenneth H. Goff was the guest speaker at the October general meeting of the Grayson County Historical Society. Mr. Goff talked to an enthusiastic crowd at the Jack Thomas House about his childhood memories of growing up in the Spring Lick community in western Grayson County.
